My name is Grant and I am a struggling millennial! I know, what a great introduction.. But to put it short and sweet, that is reality and I know there are others that can relate. I am a 26 years old, living in one of the most expensive cities in the nation, working in the corporate world, and trying to make ends meet. As a millennial looking to find their way to financial success, I have quickly learned that working my 9-5 job in an entry/mid-level position inside a large corporate company isn’t going to get me to where I financially aspire to be. If spending years working your way up the corporate ladder, and then working another 30 years after that to benefit from those profits is your ideal lifestyle, then my blog may not be for you. But, if you are like me and you are looking to get out of what many call “the rat race” and find financial freedom and early retirement, then stick around!

I started this blog at the beginning of my journey in order to share everything along the way — both the successes and  failures in hopes to also help others along their own path to financial freedom. Anyone can take charge of their own wealth and success. It all boils down to what you choose to focus on and how much effort and dedication you will put toward this goal.

I started my journey while still working my 9-5 job in order to have a reliable source of income while beginning to explore different ventures and projects. Everyone’s journey will be different.  It’s all about finding which path will work for you. For those who are starting out unemployed, I would suggest referring to some of my “side hustle” posts in order to get some cash flow coming in.  No matter what your situation is, I hope Millennial Chasing Money is a place anyone can come for inspiration, advice, new ideas, or even entertainment while following the ups and down on my road to financial success.

Please leave any feedback, post suggestions, or questions you may have. I am always looking to interact and connect with my fellow financial investing fanatics!

Let me know what you want to see more of!
